Anfison’s Process for Creating Premium Quality CBD

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, most CBD products are not lab tested and are often promoted with false advertising about the potency and purity of the CBD oil they contain.
At Anfison, we take the guesswork out of CBD! On each of our products, we include a QR code linking to both the internal lab reports on the raw oil and the third-party testing on the finished product. But the process of creating our premium products starts much earlier! Let us take you through the process of exactly how we source the CBD oil for our products:
Step 1: High Quality Farming
Our CBD oil is derived from proprietary strains of hemp, which have high concentrations of CBD and low concentrations of THC. All of the hemp we use is organically grown in nutrient-rich soil in the USA. Additionally, all our raw materials are subjected to various regulatory testing and processes to ensure compliance with organic standards and consumer safety.
Step 2: Processing Raw Hemp
All of our hemp plants are dried after harvesting and stored in a climate-controlled environment, after which the flower is milled to a powder. This milling process adheres to the highest standards in the industry, and again, subjected to regulatory testing.
Step 3: Extraction
We use a proprietary USDA Organic certified hemp extraction process that involves supercritical CO2 — a commonly used method of extraction to produce a more premium CBD oil. This process ensures the potency and purity of the oil used to make each of our products.
Step 4: Separate
After extraction, we remove the waxes and parts we don’t want in our final product, which improves the quality of the oil. This involves separating the hemp extract from the supercritical CO2 that’s used in the extraction. Once this is done, the CO2 is used again for the process of distillation.
Step 5: Removal of THC
An important step of producing our broad spectrum oil is to extract all traces of THC through a USDA organic certified chromatography process. This ensures that our broad-spectrum products are truly THC free and that our full-spectrum products adhere to THC content regulations. Step 6: Lab Testing by Third-Party
Quality and transparency go hand-in-hand. That is why all our products are subjected to a comprehensive third-party lab testing process. The tests include: microbial (E. coli, yeast, mold), potency, heavy metals and pesticide testing. The results for each product are available to you as a QR code on each product label that links to both internal and external lab reports. With our products you always know what you are consuming and how everything is made!
Step 7: Nano-emulsion
The same oil used in our tinctures is used to make Anfison’s CBD softgels. However, to ensure potency and efficacy, softgels require an additional step that makes the hemp oil into water-soluble, nano-sized emulsions that are more easily absorbed into the body. This also makes the effects of our softgels last longer!
